July 17-31

I started a new post because I was honestly sick and tired of having to move the pictures around and everything. So, from now on, I plan to make a new post for every two weeks or so. Possibly, a new post for whenever I throw a fit and feel like there's no organization.

Week 6 (July 17-24)
Mainly I focused on nature and life, I really enjoy photographing both of the two. There are a lot of photo's that I had taken that are of my cat and of the outside area of my apartment. I always thought that there weren't beautiful things nearby and that I had to travel for beauty. But I just went outside and there was actually life, it was surprising. But, let's go!

I love this picture because that black and white, the angle, and the expression of my cat just all flow together and give that feeling of sorrow or sadness.

For once, my cat looks majestic.

The dramatic effect of this photograph just gives me the chills.

I love my kitty! She looks so sad. :(

I like the colors in this photo and the texture (like always)

The view outside my apartment.

Overall, I've always enjoyed photographing the texture of most objects. I also think that my photography is unique because I tend to go on different angles and have different perspectives of the object being photograph.

Week 7 (July 25-31)
This week has been pretty stressful. I've had so much to do with so little time. Luckily, I went to Ashippun to visit my boyfriend's family and they happened to live on a farm so I had the opportunity to take some pictures in an area where I would have never traveled to alone.

July 1-16

Week 4 (July 1-8)

This week has been fairly depressing, my great grandmother had passed away on June 29th, so I decided to focus my work on lifeless things. Dying things. The beauty I photographed last week had died, and the inspiration hadn't. My grandmother inspired me to grasp beauty and treasure it, now that she's gone, it's almost as if the beauty in almost everything had died.

Week 5 (July 9-16)

I haven't had really much time on my hands for taking pictures, my summer hasn't been that eventful; other than making a bunch of money and investing in a REAL camera. I'm very excited to purchase a new camera that actually has amazing quality. For next week, I really want to get out of the house and photograph the beauty in this small town. I'm excited, but I'm nervous, just because I'm hoping one of the two days that I have off will be nice outside. Well, anyways.. I'm rambling. So, this week I sort of focused on editing a lot, and myself. :p ew. BUT! it looks nothing like me, so it's okay!
I took this picture earlier in the summer, right before school ended, and I just really liked it because of the facial expression and I decided to edit it black and white and darken specific areas.

I LOVE this picture because for one: I love my fish! and two: the colors are just mysterious and out there.

I like this picture for the softness and the editing actually makes the photo look beautiful.

I like this picture because of the angelic editing, and the brightness in the photo .
I like this picture because I LOVE these things in my ice creaaam! SOOOO GOOD.
And again, they're just amazing and I thought that the texture would be great to photograph.
Threw the lid in the photo more.
There's this one cluster on my table that just bothers me, and is so random. I decided photographing it would be a good idea because all of the colors just come together.
I love photographing close ups of almost everything, and I got these letters from Carroll College about my ACT and Scholarships that I'm eligible for, so I decided that photographing their professionalism would just flow well.
